I am finally finished with all my make up work for the semester. I just laid down in my bed for the first time in over 36 hours. My spine hurt so damn bad it was ridiculous. But then I heard my dad get up and make himself coffee before work… And I just crawled into the kitchen and curled in his lap and watched him drink coffee and do a crossword. Because all of the stress kind of just… disappeared when I sent that final email. And all I wanted was to be held and have my dad pet my hair and close my eyes and smell the coffee and the kitchen before dawn. Now I can sleep.
